Best Paper Award

Since 2024, the Scientific Commission Marketing has awarded a Best Paper Award for the best marketing paper of the previous calendar year published in a prestigious academic journal. The best marketing paper is chosen through an anonymous vote during the annual meeting of the Scientific Commission.

The 2024 Best Paper Award of the Scientific Commission Marketing goes to Simone Wies (Goethe University Frankfurt), Alexander Bleier (Frankfurt School of Finance & Management), and Alexander Edeling (KU Leuven) for their article “Finding Goldilocks Influencers: How Follower Count Drives Social Media Engagement,” published in 2023 in the Journal of Marketing (https://doi.org/10.1177/00222429221125131).
