The newly founded Insight Mobility Institute currently comprises six faculty members in the areas of Entrepreneurship, IT, Marketing, Strategy, Social Business, and Supply Chain Management. Members of the Academic and Management Advisory Board stem from internationally recognized institutions such as University of St. Gallen, RWTH Aachen, and Georgia Institute of Technology as well as corporate partners such as Porsche, Schaeffler, and Facebook. It offers a vibrant and collaborative research environment. The members are active in the international academic community through their membership on editorial boards and active roles in the Academy of Management and other organizations. To strengthen our academic footprint in the field of mobility we´re looking for an assistant professor with a strong focus on psychological theories and quantitative methods.

 

At EBS Business School, the Insight Mobility Institute invites international applications for an Assistant Professorship f/m of Mobility Management (tenure track).

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conducting high-quality research in the field of Mobility and related areas as well as ambition to publish in leading journals
  • Teaching and tutoring students at Bachelor´s, Master´s and Doctorate level
  • Collaborating with industrial partners
  • Taking over roles in university governance

 

Your Profile:

  • Doctoral degree from an internationally known university or business school
  • A record of high quality research ideally proven by first publications in international refereed journals or conference proceedings
  • Ability to acquire external research grants and/or projects with industry partners
  • Teaching experience welcome
  • International orientation in research and teaching
