Paying for membership fees via PayPal

Paying with PayPal

We offer our members from abroad who do not have access to a euro bank account in the EU or are only able to pay in other currencies (e.g. from the USA or Japan) the opportunity to pay their membership fees via the online payment service PayPal. PayPal (Europe) is a company for secure financial transactions via the internet that is certified by the British regulatory body FSA. You can also pay by credit card via PayPal.

For payments via PayPal, VHB incurs fees and additional costs depending on the country from which the payment originates and which currency needs to be converted into euros. For your membership fee payment – after the fees incurred have been deducted – to go into VHB’s account in full, a lump sum of EUR 5 will be charged on top of the fee to cover expenses.

The membership fees paid via PayPal thus increase to:

EUR 95 for full members and

EUR 35 for senior members.

For the payment, please select your membership type and make sure you enter the invoice number or your name to enable the payment to be assigned correctly – e.g. “12345/2015”

Then click on “Pay now”.

Please note:

In each case, it is a one-off payment. You will continue to receive your membership fee invoice as normal in future and are then free to decide whether you wish to pay it by bank transfer, SEPA direct debit or via PayPal again.
